The immediate demand of Kurdistan workers is to remove the influence of political parties in employment and promotion
The elimination of centralized hiring and suspension of promotion in KRG positions has been going on for more than a decade and is depriving Kurdish workers, laborers and youth of their original demands. Especially the “financial crisis” gave the authorities an excuse not to respond to employment demands and to stop immediately raising the wages of workers and laborers. But in fact, the strengthening and promotion of both ruling and opposition parties always secretly satisfied the hearts of their ranks secured several positions and raised their status every month.
The “interest sharing” between the parties and the prolongation of the parties’ hand over the decisions of the government and its employees has been the reason that ordinary citizens, professionals and young people who are ready to face oppression and injustice, and as a result, the end of the parties in the establishment and position of duty has become an immediate demand. The protests of the volunteer employees of the health sector that abolished the establishment of the government, which was decided at the expense of the parties, at the same time, the protests of teachers and employees these days against the government’s decision to assign the position of the “Service Council”, is a living proof that the desire to end the party’s hand on the establishment and promotion of the position is one of the demands that be raised as a demand in the protests of this period.
But if the government has stopped the establishment and the promotion of the position, if the parties’ division deprives a large number of people of the right to establish and raise the status of the position, the question is, what should be done? This has proven that as far as this government works, it is implementing policies and decisions that benefit the parties in power and abroad. A government that runs this system, which is fundamentally contrary to the interests of citizens, their lives and livelihoods, will be held accountable for their lives, work and services. Therefore, if we do not illuminate parties influence in the government and its decisions, this system must be dissolved and the administration of society should be managed by working people and their hard-working people, in response to the demands of a better and more prosperous life. But until the struggles and protests dissatisfied people have reached this level, the only way is for the workers, teachers, university graduates to come together against the politics of division and the corruption of the parties, and the desire to establish and raise the level of worthy positions in front of the government and its decisions, and force it to meet the will of the people. This means that only with united struggle, the protests of workers, teachers, university graduate, and those who work voluntarily will succeed. The experience of protests Kurdistan people has proven the fact that the unity of the organization and gathering around the will of the people can force the authorities to respond to the demands of people.
