More than 170000 primary and secondary teachers and university lecturers Who are working permanently have not received their wages for months. They have their families to look after and bring food for their children. Their demands are very rea- sonable and it is the responsibility of the Kurdistan regional government to meet those demands and create an environment for them to work without any hesitation. We Force the Kurdistan regional government to, Resume the promotion of teachers and other employees of the education sector. Offer teachers employed on casual and contract basis permanent contracts. Payment of salaries every month and on time. Stop the meddling of the dominant parties in the affairs and works of government institutions including the education system as soon as possible. We, the Workers Struggle Centre based in Lanka, stand strongly with the Teachers. and university lecturers in the Kurdistan region in this struggle and force the Kurd- istan regional government to meet their demands and create an environment for them to continue their work.
